Great expo at Early Court but the connection and availability for the online world could be improved.

The addition of priority passes has made a tremendous difference to my experience today and will be signing up for next year as soon as they are available.

First session looked at SEO techniques and the speaker came up with an interesting argument regarding link building. I’m a little surprised that he is currently the only speaker to talk about JCPennys I thought it would ne all over this year.

My social experience has not been quite what I was expecting although there has been lots of talk about the tools and measures for success with s couple of case studies to show how traffic changes, there was little strategic thought behind any of this.

The final session of the day was prof Malcolm McDonald and he must have been to similar sessions as me. His talk was based on the importance of strategy and the old matrix showing that if you do the wrong thing well you fail quickly.

All in all a good day, there again tomorrow and planning on kicking the day off with Google.

The TFMA event has developed over the 5 years I’ve attended but was disappointed with the lack of major players such as Google.
